Tarantas Tempranillo 2016

Ahh, our dear friend Tempranillo. Known fondly as “the people’s grape ” in Spain. These types of wine are a real crowd pleaser and pair well with an assortment of Mediterranean and spicy dishes. But isn’t it Thanksgiving????? Yes. You can still serve it with Mr. Turkey! Come on, live a little, spice Mr. Turkey up! 🦃🍗🌶 Too adventurous? Serve with some Spanish cheese and crackers, it will go very well.

Anyways.

Tarantas Tempranillo is produced by Bodegas Irzano, one of the oldest Wine Houses in 🇪🇸 Spain. These vines are a hardy variety that can survive a high variance in temperature. The wine is aged a minimum of 6 months in Oak barrels (French and American). Christina Claire Amanda Goodwin wine blog Its Señorita Time This wine has an attractive ruby red color and fine legs. Notes of spice and blackberries. Medium body with a full mouth feel, hints of leather and cherries. Over all a well balanced and enjoyable wine. Nice acidity, pleasant lingering of ripe fruit.

Bonus: Wine Enthusiast rated 86 points, EcoCert wine, and is made with organic grapes 🍇 Not bad for about $10.00 at Whole Foods Market. Don’t live near one? Click here to buy.
